Wigan Athletic snap up youngster who was last at Oxford United

Wigan Athletic have snapped up midfielder Tobias Brenan, as announced by their official club website.
Wigan Athletic have decided to hand the youngster a deal following his spell on trial. He has previously been on the books at Oxford United.
Brenan, 18, has penned a contract running until the end of the season with the League One side. He will link up with their Under-21’s side under the guidance of Chris Brown.
Brown has said, as per the club website: “Tobias is a great addition to the squad. He has performed well over his trial period and will add a lot of good qualities to the group on and off the pitch.
“Tobias is an energetic midfielder who will get forward into attacking positions and show his ability in the final third within goal involvements, as well as his ability to compete and win one-on-one duels, whilst also having the ability to start counter attacks.
“He is a great character for the group, and we are very pleased to welcome him to the Club.”
