Bradford City boss Graham Alexander has refused to rule out further additions to his squad this winter.
Bradford City have the chance to add more players to their ranks before the end of the January transfer window. BCAFC have until the deadline on Monday 3rd February to get any final deals over the line.
The Bantams are currently eyeing promotion to League One and have been in decent form over recent times.
In this latest update on the recruitment front, when asked whether any transfers are in the offing, Alexander has said, as per a report by The Telegraph & Argus: “Not at the minute. I’m really pleased with our squad. If we’re left with this squad on day one of the rest of the season then I’ll be perfectly happy.
“I think we’ve got really good competition, good quality and physical attributes and motivated players. But it’s January and I’ve been in the game a long time so let’s see what happens.”
Bradford City transfer update
Bradford City are currently sat in 7th place in the League Two table.
They are inside the play-offs along with Port Vale, AFC Wimbledon and Notts County.
The Yorkshire outfit won 3-0 at home to the league leaders Walsall over the weekend in what was an eye-catching result.
Alex Pattison scored twice against the Saddlers whilst Antoni Sarcevic got their other one as Alexander’s men sent a statement to the rest of the division.
Bradford City have delved into the market so far this month to bring in the likes of Tommy Leigh, George Lapslie, Michael Mellon and Brandon Khela.
They have also cut ties with Corry Evans, Tyler Smith and Paul Huntington, among others, to help free up space and funds.
What now for Bradford City?
Bradford City are a club who should really be playing at a higher level with the crowds they get.
It has proved to be a tough job for managers over recent years but Alexander seems to have steadied the ship for now.
The former Salford City and Motherwell man has been backed over recent times and the hierarchy have stuck with him.
The Bantams are unbeaten in their last seven outings in all competitions and their last defeat came on 21st December against Notts County.
They are carrying momentum at the moment and will be full of confidence as they prepare for their next clash against Morecambe on Tuesday.
