Bradley Barcola's deteriorating relationship with Luis Enrique could see endanger PSG contract extension talks

Bradley Barcola (22) has been Paris Saint-Germain’s stand-out player so far this season. The top scorer in Ligue 1, the former Olympique Lyonnais forward’s form has, however, dipped in recent weeks, whilst he is also struggling to replicate that form in the UEFA Champions League.
He once again failed to score against FC Nantes, a match that finished in a draw. Since that game, reports of unrest within the PSG dressing room have emerged, with the likes of Ousmane Dembélé and Presnel Kimpembe reportedly unhappy with their current situations, whilst the former also has misgivings about Les Parisiens’ play-style under Luis Enrique, as per L’Équipe.
Barcola shares a similar stance, according to Foot Mercato. The former OL forward is increasingly out of kilter with what Luis Enrique is instructing him to do and he is increasingly frustrated with his manager’s tactical instructions. This is causing tension between the player and his manager.
The frustration with Luis Enrique’s rigid tactical instructions could even scupper Barcola’s touted extension at PSG. According to Foot Mercato, talks over an extension to the current deal, which runs until 2028, were started a few weeks ago, however, those talks are now on standby.
