Former Lille forward Adam Ounas in talks over Greece move

According to a report from Foot MercatoOlympiacos are in advanced talks to sign former Lille OSC forward Adam Ounas (27).

Ounas left Lille upon the expiry of his contract over the summer. His time with Les Dogues was blighted by injury, whilst the Algerian international’s attitude was also repeatedly called into question. Towards the end of his two-year stint at LOSC, following a €2.5m move from Napoli, he was demoted to training and playing with the reserve side.

He left Lille having made 44 appearances for the club, during which time he scored twice and registered three assists. Since leaving the Ligue 1 side at the start of July, he has been without a club.

Foot Mercato now understands that Ounas is in talks with Greek side Olympiacos. He has been offered a two-year deal and the Algerian forward is interested in the project that has been presented. A positive outcome is expected soon.
