'A little bit': Sammy Lee names the Liverpool player who will be 'disappointed' with his display against Forest

Liverpool remain six points clear at the top of the Premier League after earning a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
Forest have been in imperious form of late and were always going to be a big test of the Reds’ title credentials.
For a long time on Tuesday, it had looked like Liverpool would fail that examination.
But, as they often have this season, the Reds rallied in the second-half to show why they sit clear atop the Premier League table.
Ultimately, Arne Slot and his team should be disappointed not to have made the pressure count, as they couldn’t grab that all important second goal.
One man who Liverpool can usually count on to find the net in such situations is Mohamed Salah. But, unfortunately for the Egyptian, he forgot to take his shooting boots with him to Nottingham.
Mo Salah left ‘disappointed’ by poor display
No Liverpool supporter will be feeling too angry towards Salah on Wednesday morning.
The 32-year-old has bailed the Reds out so many times before and has been their leading light this season again.
Having said that, there’s little hiding from the fact that Salah was pretty woeful against Forest.
Chance after chance was squandered by the Egyptian King. And according to former Liverpool player Sammy Lee, Mo himself will be upset by his failure to convert at least one opportunity.
“You have to give credit to the Forest defence,” Lee concedes while speaking to LFCTV. “They were throwing bodies in, getting blocks and the ‘keeper was magnificent.
“Maybe one of two of Mo’s he’ll be a little bit disappointed in, but credit to our lads for going hell for leather to try and get that winner.”
Salah’s statistics against Nottingham Forest
As per a statistic from TNT Sports after the game, Tuesday was only the third time Salah has failed to register either a goal or an assist in a Premier League game this season.
Consequently, it’s hard to feel too frustrated by Liverpool’s magnificent No.11.
Nevertheless, better should be expected given some of the chances which fell his way.
Salah had five shots against Nottingham Forest, of which only two were on target. Of course one was cleared off the line, but there’s an argument that Mo should have done better with that one, too.
An xG of 0.47 would usually bring a goal for Salah, while his zero out of four completed dribbles was also a bit of a let down. If anyone deserves an off night then it’s Mo, but make no mistake, this was a bad display.
