'Another level': Arne Slot tells Gary Lineker what he's been most impressed by in Liverpool's training

Life for Arne Slot on Merseyside has gone better than many Liverpool fans would have expected.
The Dutch coach had the daunting task of having to replace the legendary Jurgen Klopp but has done so with flying colours.
Slot has rested several Liverpool stars for their Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night as the Reds look ahead to a tough Premier League clash with Bournemouth at the weekend.
The Merseyside club are top of the table in both competitions while the Reds also remain in the domestic cup competitions.
Although several clubs have fallen below their levels from previous campaigns, Slot deserves a lot of credit for the work he has done at Anfield, which shows why he was loved so much at Feyenoord.
The Dutch coach believes there are similarities between the two clubs, however, the 46-year-old has named one key difference he has spotted in training on Merseyside.

Arne Slot spots one main difference between Liverpool and Feyenoord
During his time at Feyenoord, Slot had plenty of success guiding the Dutch club to a league title and KNVB Cup success during his time in Rotterdam.
The Liverpool boss went head-to-head with PSV for the title last season and ahead of facing the Dutch club on Wednesday, their manager Peter Bosz has admitted that he has been impressed by Slot’s work at Anfield.
Speaking to Gary Lineker as part of an interview for the BBC, Slot told the Match of the Day presenter that the main difference between Liverpool and Feyenoord is the finishing ability of the Reds squad.
“A lot of them are world-class players. The main difference, if I look at the training sessions, is finishing,” Slot told Lineker when asked about the difference between the two clubs.
“If I look at the finishing of these players, the power of their shots, how precise they are, that is another level compared to Feyenoord.”
Players such as Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo come to mind when thinking about players the Dutch coach might have been impressed by as the whole squad begins to pull together ahead of a crucial phase in the campaign.
Arne Slot could become an instant Liverpool great
Should Slot win the Premier League in his first season as Liverpool manager, the Dutch coach will join a very small list of coaches to have achieved this at other clubs.
Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Conte won the title during their first seasons at Chelsea; while at Man City, the feat was achieved by Manuel Pellegrini.
Slot would become a hero at Anfield for this alone, however, if the Dutch coach were to win the treble for instance, the former Feyenoord boss would become an instant legend.
Gary Neville recently stated that Slot reminds him of Sir Alex Ferguson in how he manages situations during a match, which already shows how highly the Liverpool boss is viewed.
