Trent Alexander-Arnold lauded after ‘outstanding’ Liverpool display
Speaking on the Rest of Football, the Premier League legend was full of praise for Trent Alexander-Arnold’s display against the west London side, with the defender at his creative best against Brentford and proving to be a real threat on Saturday.
Shearer said when talking about Liverpool’s win against Brentford: “Trent Alexander-Arnold was brilliant as well, he was outstanding. I know Nunez will get the headlines for the goals, but Trent was superb again, he’s fantastic, really good.”

With Steve McManaman also in awe with Alexander-Arnold’s performance, the England international showed why he is rightfully regarded as one of the best defenders in the world and in a league of his own in the right-back position.
