Keown in awe by ‘phenomenal’ Mohamed Salah form for Liverpool

Speaking on TalkSport, the former Arsenal defender shared his admiration over Salah’s form this season, with the Liverpool winger once again showing why he’s one of the best attackers in the world with the Premier League giants.

Although Salah posted a cryptic message on his Liverpool future over the weekend, the Egyptian international is showing the type of form that has made the 32-year-old an unstoppable force at times for the Reds.

And for Keown, Salah is looking fired up under Slot, with the Liverpool no. 11 a key reason behind the Anfield side’s sensational form this season and their pushes for the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.

Keown said on Salah’s form: "Salah is phenomenal again, isn't he? The way that he is hitting the back of the net. There's a lot of talk around his contract, but whatever is motivating him, he is up for it. He is fired, he is fired up. He wants to win another one."

Liverpool will hope Salah can have his best season ever for the Reds

With Al-Hilal looking to sign Salah before the FIFA Club World Cup next summer, there’s a real chance that this season will be the winger’s last as a Liverpool player.

Yet after such a strong start, the Reds will be hopeful that Salah can enjoy his best season ever at Liverpool, with the Merseyside giants in with a shot of winning the Premier League, Champions League and domestic titles.

Indeed, Salah is putting up numbers already that strongly suggests that the forward will be influential in Liverpool’s hopes of winning silverware, and the 32-year-old will want to keep this level up until the end of the season.
