Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold continued his superb season with a top display to help the Reds defeat AC Milan.

Alexander-Arnold started and played 79 minutes for Liverpool in their 3-1 Champions League victory over the Italian club.

Arne Slot will be delighted with the performance and the result, particularly after his side conceded an early goal.

That will, of course, frustrate him, but the Anfield boss can't have too many complaints about the scenario that played out at the San Siro.

Alexander-Arnold was certainly heavily involved, with the right-back helping initiate the comeback with an assist for Ibrahima Konate's equaliser.

Will Jude Bellingham try to help Real Madrid sign Trent Alexander-Arnold?

Bellingham has taken over at Real Madrid since his high-profile switch from Borussia Dortmund, with the Englishman shining under the pressure in Spain.

He won't exactly have much sway over transfers at the La Liga giants, but his club may just rely heavily on Bellingham should they be interested in a move for Alexander-Arnold.

And that will worry Liverpool supporters, who know just how important the right-back is for Slot at Anfield.
