Manchester City have already laid the groundwork to sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush.

That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, and he provides the latest on Manchester City in his column for Sky Sport CH.

The striker starred this season, managing 18 goals and 12 assists from 24 games, and attracted the attention of the Premier League sides.

As well as the Citizens, Arsenal and Liverpool are in the mix to sign the 25-year-old, but he ‘only wants’ to go to Manchester City.

This is because Pep Guardiola’s have taken ‘important steps’ by offering him a five-year deal and had a meeting with his representatives in recent weeks. The journalist adds the Egypt international is seduced by these discussions and Manchester City’s style of play.

Tavolieri claims the English champions are looking at the frontman for next season even though Guardiola would like to have him in January. He adds Eintracht Frankfurt, for their part, would need at least €60m to sanction his sale.

The Gunners have concrete interest while the Reds see Marmoush as a target to replace Mohamed Salah at Anfield. However, the Egyptian, for now, favours Manchester City over their two league rivals.
