Manchester United started the season with the objective of qualifying for the Champions League by finishing in the top-four.

However, their hope of achieving that is almost over as they are currently languishing in the bottom half of the table.

They have been knocked out of the EFL Cup after losing to Tottenham Hotspur. But, they have reached the fourth round of the FA Cup after beating Arsenal so they still have an opportunity to end the campaign with a trophy.

Europa League is another route to qualify for Europe's elite club competition if they win it. But, the way they have been performing thus far this season, it looks unlikely that they would be able to lift this trophy.

Therefore, Man Utd’s situation is dire at the moment and Ruben Amorim will have to make a complete rebuild to help the club challenge for big prizes once again.

Now, Caught Offside claim that the Portuguese boss is planning to revamp the LWB position. He hasn’t been impressed by Tyrell Malacia hence he is ready to sell the Dutchman and Juventus have made contact to lure him.

Amorim wants Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri to replace the Dutchman at Man Utd. However, purchasing the Algerian won’t be cheap as Vitor Pereira’s side have slapped a £60m price tag on his head.

Malacia has become an injury prone player and remained sidelined completely last term due to a serious knee issue.

Ait-Nouri has been a key player for the West Midlands club over the years and has already played over 100 games for them. Moreover, he has ample experience of playing international football with Algeria.

He has been in excellent form thus far this season, netting three goals and registering five assists in 20 Premier League appearances. So, the 23-year-old is ready to take the next step in his career.

Have your say – Should Man Utd spend £60m to sign Ait-Nouri?
