Rangers fans can go into Christmas quite relaxed after their team recorded a crucial Scottish Premiership victory over Dundee.
But that's certainly not how they would've been feeling whilst watching the game, as Rangers blew of host of chances and only scored once to record a narrow 1-0 victory.
Dundee were encouraged in the closing stages with the scoreline ensuring a nervous finish, as Rangers fans had visions of the team regretting a host of missed opportunities.
But come full-time it was the Rangers match winner Vaclav Cerny who was the toast of supporters as the Czech international's 8th Scottish Premiership goal of the season proved decisive.
Rangers fans applaud Vaclav Cerny
Rangers fans have taken to social media platform X to applaud Vaclav Cerny after his decisive goal in the 1-0 Scottish Premiership win over Dundee.
One Rangers fan reckons Vaclav Cerny is the 'only' member of the current squad who 'plays at the level required of a Rangers player'.
It feeds into the suggestion from another supporter who has pleaded with Rangers to 'please' make the Wolfsburg loanee's temporary deal permanent.
Another supporter labelled the forward 'MOTM' for his matchwinning performance against Dundee at Ibrox for Rangers.
One Rangers fan summed this up at the end of the game by asking the question on everyone's lips at Ibrox.
Vaclav Cerny on Rangers future
Vaclav Cerny has previously admitted that he'd be open to extending his stay at Rangers but that the final decision does not ultimately rest with him.
The Czech winger, 27, has been a standout performer for Rangers this season and the Ibrox support want to see a permanent deal struck with the Bundesliga outfit.
Reports in Czechia have suggested that Rangers could sign Cerny for a fee of £3.8m but these have yet to be confirmed by sources closer to Ibrox.
Speaking about his future, Cerny has suggested it's a little early to be wondering where he's going to end up come the end of the season.
"If it's up to me, I would be open to talk obviously," Cerny said in November. "But I think it's very, very soon to talk about that.
"If you don't mind, just let me focus on helping the team and achieve what we want to achieve, me personally and as a club. I think we've got plenty of time to talk about this.
"I am obviously (enjoying it), yeah."
In an interview in the Czech Republic, Cerny added: "I am supposed to return to Wolfsburg after this season, but honestly, I'm only focused on this campaign, Rangers' success and my own.
"I want to have the best season of my career in terms of goals and assists. And then we'll see. Of course I have a plan, but there's no point talking about it yet."
