Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Wolverhampton Wanderers star Rayan Ait-Nouri.
The 23-year-old has established himself as a reliable Premier League performer and could prove to be an excellent acquisition for the north London club.
They could use more quality and depth in the wide areas, and the Algerian would be the ideal addition. He is versatile enough to operate as a left-back, as well as a left-sided winger. He has four goals and five assists to his name this season and he could be the ideal utility man for Tottenham. He has been labelled as "extremely talented" by Gary O'Neil in the past.
Meanwhile, they will face competition from Liverpool. According to a report from Africa Foot, Tottenham have submitted an offer of around £30 million to get the deal done and it remains to be seen whether they can secure an agreement with the West Midlands club.
Wolves will not want to lose a key player like him easily, and they could look to demand a substantial amount of money for the player.
Ait-Nouri could fancy a big move
Meanwhile, the versatile wide player could be attracted to the idea of joining a big club in the summer. Tottenham could be an exciting opportunity for him. They could provide him with the platform to fight for trophies in the coming season. They might be able to secure European qualification for the next season as well.
Wolves, on the other hand, could go down to the Championship if they do not finish the season strongly. The 23-year-old will not want to compete in the second division of English football and he deserves to play in the Premier League.
As far as Liverpool are concerned, Andrew Robertson is on the decline and he needs to be replaced in the coming months. It is no surprise that they are keen on the 23-year-old Wolves star. It will be interesting to see where the Algerian ends up. He could be a quality addition for both clubs.
