Manchester United reportedly finally look set to offload Antony in a loan move to Real Betis, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Posting on his official account on X, the Italian journalist claimed that Antony is now closing in on a move to the La Liga giants, though it's only a loan until the end of the season, with no buy option.
The Brazilian winger has proven a major flop at Man Utd since his move to Old Trafford for a whopping £82m just a couple of years ago, as reported by BBC Sport at the time.
Antony shone during his time at Ajax but has been unable to replicate that form for the Red Devils, and it's not too surprising that he's now being shown the door, with just the final details left to discuss, according to Romano…

What next for Antony after nightmare Man Utd spell?
Antony could end up being an interesting signing for Betis if he can regain his confidence and get back to his best, though it's also fair to say that United fans won't be at all bothered about him leaving.
Even if Antony can start performing again, it seems he hasn't quite got it in him to do that for a big club in the Premier League, so we've surely seen the last of him in a United shirt.
The 24-year-old is surely going to go down as one of the major Premier League flops of recent times, considering the amount MUFC spent on him.
Antony is now firmly down the pecking order in Ruben Amorim's side, with the likes of Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho looking like far better options out wide.
United surely need to offload a few other players as well as Amorim has inherited a struggling squad in need of a major shake-up.
