The January transfer window is in full swing and Premier League clubs like Tottenham, Manchester City and Aston Villa may well look to strengthen their ranks.

Tottenham are desperate to get back to winning ways amid an injury crisis at N17, while Manchester City are seriously missing the injured Rodri.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa have midfield worries of their own, with John McGinn potentially out for at least a month due to a hamstring injury.

All three clubs, plus a host of other sides like Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Crystal Palace, have all ‘taken notice’ of Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli.

Now, CaughtOffside has reported how much Juve are said to want for Fagioli amid interest from the Premier League.

Juventus value Nicolo Fagioli at around £21million

Juve reportedly want around €25million (£21million) for Fagioli, who is available in January after becoming surplus to Thiago Motta’s requirements.

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey previously reported that multiple Premier League clubs are aware that Fagioli has been offered to clubs around Europe.

Sources told TBR Football that Man City, Villa, Tottenham, Fulham, Palace and Forest have all taken notice.

Indeed, Palace have reportedly opened talks over Fagioli, with West Ham also said to be interested, according to Tuttosport.

CaughtOffside also spoke about Tottenham’s purported interest in midfielders, including the possibility of signing Johnny Cardoso ahead of schedule.

Spurs are ‘making evaluations and exploring various options in midfield’, such as Fagioli, Cardoso and Inter Milan’s David Frattesi.

However, the latter is said to be valued at €50million (£42million), and Inter aren’t willing to lose him this month.

What Andrea Pirlo has said about Fagioli

Fagioli earned huge praise from Juventus and Italy legend Andrea Pirlo, who likened the Premier League target to himself.

"The biggest leap was made by Fagioli, who made his debut with me,” Pirlo told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He knows how to do everything and is a cornerstone of Juve and has the qualities to excel in directing play.

“He could be the new Pirlo, but better remembered as Fagioli."
