Academy Ambition: Tobi Adeyemo

This season, players in the Hornets Academy will outline their ambitions for the rest of their careers.

This time, it’s striker Tobi Adeyemo.

What is your biggest ambition in football?

My biggest ambition is probably to win the World Cup!

To win the Champions League as well, and score a lot of goals at the highest level.

Do you have any short-term ambitions with Watford?

I’ve come back from injury so it’s been good to get back playing.

If I am asked to go on loan, to have a good spell on loan.

If you could play a game at any stadium, which one would it be?

I’d say the Santiago Bernabéu.

It’s iconic, there’s an amazing atmosphere and it has a lot of history as well.

If you could play against any team, who would you choose?

That’s a good question!

I would say Barcelona – going up against them would be really special.

If you could play alongside any player from any era, who would it be?

It has to be Kevin De Bruyne.

Just because of his ability to pick out team-mates, his range of passing and the way he conducts himself.

He is so influential on the pitch.

If you could meet any celebrity, who would it be?

Any celebrity? I think I’m going to keep it in football and go with Ronaldo.

If you could score any type of goal, what would it be?

So I can score any goal? A long-ranger.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

America – somewhere like LA. Or Dubai! I’ve not been there.
