Liverpool star and Egypt international Mohamed Salah has once again given fans another hint regarding his immediate future following the Red's 2-0 win against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Salah played a starring role in Liverpool's recent victory over City, as his 78th minute penalty added gloss to what was an impressive performance at Anfield this weekend.
With the 32-year-old out of contract at the end of the 2024/25 season, there has been little indication or direction from the club regarding a new deal. Nonetheless, Salah has thus attracted major interest from the rapidly growing Saudi Pro League.
During the post-match interview, Salah revealed that he could well have played his last tie against City at Anfield and that he is fully focused on enjoying his time at the club.
“It’s very special. I don’t take it for granted. I’m enjoying every minute here, it feels like home, so it’s a special feeling always, scoring at Anfield and winning games," Salah told SkySports, as per 90MIN.
“Until now, this is the last City game I will play for Liverpool so I was just going to enjoy it.
“The atmosphere was incredible so I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully we just win the league and will see what will happen.”
