Four players share Ashton Gate honours

More often than not this season we've seen the man of the match and the player ratings won by the same player from a game. That had been the case in fourteen of the sixteen league and cup games prior to last Saturday's game at Bristol City.
That wasn't the case for this game although we did have the same top four players in both albeit with different winners.
Jay Rodriguez, back in the side and in top form, was the man of the match winner with 25% of the vote, just beating Jaidon Anthony who won a 24% share. CJ Egan-Riley was third with 15% and just behind him Josh Cullen took fourth place with 14% of the vote.
It was Egan-Riley in first place in the player ratings; he had a rating of 7.92 out of ten, and Cullen was second with 7.86. Anthony came third with 7.82 while Rodriguez took fourth place with a rating of 7.75 out of ten.
That's given Egan-Riley seven points towards the Up the Clarets Player of the Year with Rodriguez winning six points. There are five points for Anthony and four points for Cullen.
Egan-Riley continues to reduce Maxime Estève's lead at the top of the table but it's still a big 33 point advantage. The two of them are a long way clear of the rest with Josh Brownhill remaining in third place on thirty points, just half of Egan-Riley's total.
