Dinamo Zagreb are set to complete a deal for Cardiff City striker Wilfried Kanga, who will be sent back to Hertha Berlin first.

That's according to 24 Sata, who report that Kanga is set to sign a three-year deal with the Croatian side.

According to their information, Kanga is set to join Dinamo, who will pay more than €3m to secure his signature.

Kanga is currently on loan at Cardiff City from Hertha Berlin but has struggled, failing to score a goal all season. Dinamo are not concerned by that in the slightest.

They believe Kanga will fit in perfectly and the transfer has already been approved by the club's executive board. In fact, the striker is already on his way to Zagreb to complete the move.

While his form in Cardiff hasn't been great, Dinamo's scouts are unconcerned. Instead, they believe that the player made a mistake choosing the Bluebirds and Hertha Berlin.

More specifically, he made a mistake in choosing clubs whose game does not match his playing characteristics. They believe Dinamo and Fabio Cannavaro's system are a much better fit.

Thus, they have moved to sign him this month, confident it'll all work out and his time at Cardiff and Hertha Berlin are just blips.
