Watford’s Ken Sema has less than six months left on his contract and the Championship side have an option to extend it for a year.

Earlier this month, Watford manager Tom Cleverley stated the club has agreed to let the 31-year-old leave if something interesting comes up in the winter market.

Sportbladet state Pafos FC have now come forward to take the player away from Watford.

The Cypriot club want to take the Sweden international in the ongoing window.

Pafos FC, as per the report, have already offered a huge contract until 2028 to the Swede and he has reached a ‘lucrative agreement’ with them. This is enough for the player to secure a rapid move away from Watford.

The transfer is at an advanced stage and is expected to be made official shortly. According to the report, the Watford player should arrive in Cyprus within a week or so to complete his move.

Sema has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Watford this season and it includes four league starts.

An announcement will be on the way from Watford and then Sema can start a new adventure in Cyprus.
