Liverpool 2-1 Chelsea, Player Ratings: Caicedo and Lavia feeling at home at Anfield
Today at 12:31 AM
Community player ratings from Chelsea's narrow defeat against the league-leaders
1. MOISÉS CAICEDO (7.2)
This is not Caicedo's first Man of the Match award, but it is his first Man of the Match award that didn't require a wondergoal from the halfway line.
That this performance, complete with a great assist for Chelsea's only goal, came against the club who tried so desperately to also sign him — with boos from the Anfield stands often accompanying his every move — makes this defeat slightly more amusing and easier to take. Moi's only growing in influence and impact, getting better and better seemingly with every game.
After playing two full games with Ecuador, Moises Caicedo put on a performance vs. Liverpool:

2. ROMÉO LAVIA (6.8)
Speaking of growing influence and players Liverpool tried to sign, Roméo Lavia partnered Caicedo in midfield, making it an all-gazumping pivot special ... and making the possibility of this partnership flourishing in the middle potentially quite special indeed.
Lavia has started just two games on the season so far, away to Manchester City and away to Liverpool, finishing first and second, respectively, in our player ratings for those games.
Enzo who?
I just love how smooth Romeo Lavia is on the half turn, never a moment I feel uneasy about him receiving ✨ pic.twitter.com/llcTPAdTu0

3. NICOLAS JACKSON (6.8)
Fifth goal of the season for Nico, and a very well taken one at that!
