'Main name' for Chelsea – Blues have priority target and news expected within hours

Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei has been linked with an exit from the club since not long after he signed for them, and the claims have grown again in recent weeks.
The midfielder remains a target for Torino and it seems as if the Blues are ready to move for a replacement, if the Italian does depart this month.
Tuttomercatoweb have reported that a potential replacement will come from Italy – just like Casadei did in 2022.
The player in question is Hellas Verona midfielder Reda Belahyane. The report claims that Chelsea see the Morocco international as the 'main name' to replace Casadei and the 20-year-old is valued at €12m right now.
There is also keen interest from Marseille and they have taken steps to land Belahyane already. Last week, an emissary from Marseille was present in Milan to hold talks over a move but no agreement was reached.
The report expects that more news about the situation will arrive in the next few hours.
There has previously been a report Chelsea have scouted the youngster in Serie A action. And now, Enzo Maresca’s side will have to hurry if they want to sign the midfielder.
