The age old debate of who is better Eden Hazard or Mohamed Salah may have finally been settled in the most unlikeliest of ways.
Salah and Hazard have both played for Chelsea, although the Egyptian didn't last long at Stamford Bridge after joining from FC Basel back in 2014.
Hazard fared much better in west London and is arguably one of the best players to put on the famous blue shirt, with his contributions leading Chelsea to many trophies
Hazard and Salah debate finally settled?
Salah only made 19 appearances for the Blues, scoring just twice before being sent to Italy where he rebuilt his career at Fiorentina and Roma, before coming back to England and joining Liverpool.
Hazard on the other hand made 352 appearances for Chelsea scoring 110 goals and providing 85 assists as he won the two Premier League titles. and gave many defenders nightmares.
The Belgian, now retired was one of, if not the best player in the Premier League during his time at the club, whilst Salah is now without doubt one of the best to ever play in the league given what he's done at Liverpool.
The debate of who is better between the pair always seems to rear it's head during international breaks, although Hazard has admitted in the past he thinks Salah is better.
However, in a unlikely set of circumstances current Liverpool player Curtis Jones has made a shock admission that he believes Hazard is a better footballer.
"I know this might go a little bit left with our fans because the comparison is always there, but Hazard is the one," he told TNT Sports.
"I know we compare him with Mo all the time and I've been into it with Mo.
"I play it from, who I saw as a kid when I loved the game and I wanted to be like a player.
'"I feel like it was Hazard. Every game, I'd watch him, just like, "wow, that's football."
"Now he's, I wouldn't say he's disrespected, but he wouldn't come into certain talks that he should.
"It's a talk I've had with Mo and all the lads. As a footballer, is he better than Mo? In my opinion, yes. But who would you rather have in your team? They're going to say Mo because he gets you your goals and assists.
Rio Ferdinand replied: "I'd pay to go and see Hazard first, but if I'm going to pick a team to win a game, I'm picking Salah."
Jones responded: "Yeah, exactly, for sure, it's as simple as that."
