According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray have stepped up their pursuit of Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters.
The 27-year-old has been linked with the Super Lig leaders in recent days, along with Everton.
Star.tr today report on the latest developments regarding Galatasaray's interest in the Southampton player and they say Cimbom have opened talks to sign the right back.
Since the departure of Serge Aurier in the summer, the right back spot has become a problem for them. Subsequently, Gala have been monitoring a number of right-side defenders in this transfer window.
The Turkish media outlet say Galatasaray have tabled an offer worth €6m as they look to take advantage of his contract situation with the Saints. Walker-Peters will be out of contract in the summer, but they still want to sign him during this window.
However, the Istanbul giants should expect to face competition, with reports Everton are in contact to sign him.
With Ashley Young and Seamus Coleman coming towards the end of their careers, it's likely David Moyes will want to address the right back situation ahead of next season.
