Antonee Robinson says Fulham’s creativity at Anfield is the latest example of Marco Silva’s side proving they can go toe-to-toe with the Premier League’s top teams.
The Fulham captain feels his team are taking significant strides forward after drawing against Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Liverpool since the start of December.
Robinson, who stole the show with two assists as the Whites drew 2-2 with the league leaders said:
“We've been managing to pick up results against top teams, that's the difference from last year. We've got injuries, but it's all about getting everyone back and staying consistent. We were on even footing and then we scored and they got a red card. They took a lot of risks pushing men high and they were rewarded for it. There was space for us on the break but we didn't capitalise.
They piled the pressure on and were really positive, They brought Diogo Jota on. I felt like Mo Salah was getting the better of me in the first half, I was on a booking but I felt more myself in the second half."
