£40m striker waves goodbye to fans after Champions League match following links with Tottenham and Arsenal

In the space of around 24 hours, Mathys Tel is suddenly a name that both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur fans can't stop discussing around north London.
Arsenal and Tottenham are both in the market to sign a new striker before next week's transfer deadline and it's emerged that Tel could be leaving Bayern Munich.
Tel was offered to Premier League sides given his lack of minutes under Vincent Kompany, which made it a surprise that he started Bayern's Champions League tie with Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday evening.
Tel started to the left of Harry Kane and played 62 minutes before being replaced by Kingsley Coman.
Given the striker’s strong interest from England, it would currently appear those minutes could be Tel's last in Bavaria, a conclusion that was supported by the Frenchman's actions at full-time.

At full-time, once Bayern had beaten their opposition 3-1, Tel didn't head down the tunnel with the rest of his teammates.
Instead, the 19-year-old went to Bayern's south stand and appeared to say goodbye to the home fans.

Tel could be seen throwing his shirt into the crowd and talking to supporters, who applauded the striker.
The moment was captured by journalist Kerry Hau who shared footage of Tel's apparent goodbye on X.
After handing out his shirt to fans, the striker continued to almost do a lap honour, meaning it would now be a surprise if he remained a Bayern player beyond Monday's deadline.
Arsenal are preparing a bid for Tel according to reports, and it would seem that the Frenchman's head has been well and truly turned.
And considering Tel might only cost £40m this month, a deal could still be tempting for several English sides.
Mathys Tel is desperate for more minutes at his next club
Of course, Tottenham are also competing for Tel, a striker who could seriously help Ange Postecoglou in N17 right now.
Dominic Solanke will still be missing for a month or so and Postecoglou had to turn to the likes of Will Lankshear during Spurs' recent defeat to Leicester City.
Across the other side of north London, Arsenal fans would surely be furious if Tel suddenly rocked up for Tottenham next week, given their own need for a striker.
Tel didn't want to move to Chelsea because he couldn't envision regular game time at Stamford Bridge.
And therefore the striker's next career move may be decided by which club can promise a better pathway and minutes over the next few years, should he come to the Premier League.
