Arsenal will already be plotting their January business.

The Gunners brought in three quality additions in the summer transfer window in Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and Raheem Sterling.

Though, they were still left a bit short in a couple of areas, including up front having missed out on Benjamin Sesko.

Whilst Kai Havertz has developed into a really efficient number nine, he’s still not quite at the level to score 20-plus goals in the Premier League.

In order to win the Premier League title, you need a striker capable of achieving that so Arsenal should try to sign a £66m-rated striker from the continent.

Arsenal should try to sign Dusan Vlahovic in January

Arsenal have ambitions to win the Premier League title this season, though, at the moment they’re trailing league leaders Manchester City by two points.

Most title-winning teams have a striker who’s capable of challenging or winning the Golden Boot but The Gunners don’t really have anyone capable of achieving that.

So, to go up a level, Arsenal should try to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window.

Mikel Arteta is thought to be a huge admirer of Vlahovic and there has been some suggestion that a move for the Serbian is being targeted for next summer.

However, signing him six months earlier than planned – in Janaury – could genuinely be a title-winning deal.

Dusan Vlahovic statistics

Vlahovic netted 18 times whilst laying on three assists last season which followed a 14-goal haul the previous campaign.

The Serbia international is off the mark this term, scoring two in six, but his game is so much more than just goals.

Vlahovic, who stands at 6ft 3, is a physcallly imposing presence up front and can act as a focal point for his teammates.

Those attributes would lend themselves really well to Arsenal and there’s a real possibility he could be open to a move to the Emirates having already held talks with the club in the past.
