Chelsea supporters have urged the club to sign Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen after a new report has revealed details surrounding his contract with the Cherries.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 19-year-old has a release clause at the Vitality Stadium which is valid from this summer.

The Blues are monitoring the situation and appreciate him as a player, while Bayern Munich are also interested in him.

Huijsen has made a significant impact on Bournemouth's season, with the club being unbeaten since he was placed into the starting lineup as they have put together eight clean sheets.

The teenager has become a regular in the Bournemouth team since the win against Tottenham on 12 December, having played every single minute of Premier League football following that game.

Huijsen has also scored twice during that time, adding an attacking threat to his overall package as a player.

The Blues recently recalled Trevoh Chalobah from his season-long loan from Crystal Palace due to injuries, with Enzo Maresca looking to bolster his defensive options.

Huijsen is under contract at Bournemouth until 2030, but the release clause could lead to the Blues pushing to bring him in ahead of next season.
