Concacaf picks Tigres' Estadio Universitario for inaugural W Champions Cup finals

December 27 – Tigres' historic Estadio Universitario stadium in Nuevo Leon, a suburb of Monterey, Mexico, will host the final four of the inaugural Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals in May 2025.

It is the second time Concacaf have visited the 42,000 capacity 'El Volcan' for a major women's championships. In 2022 the stadium hosted eight matches, including the semi-finals, of the Concacaf W Championship.

Tigres Femenil topped Group A in qualifying for the final four of Concacaf's new women's club competition.
