TBR Football understand Wolves have now opened talks with Dynamo Kyiv over a deal to sign Volodymyr Brazhko.

Matt Hobbs – Director of Football at Molineux – is still looking to make reinforcements for Vitor Pereira despite the signing of Emmanuel Agbadou from Stade de Reims.

Wolves are currently 18th in the Premier League – so any business carried out before the February 3rd transfer deadline could well prove decisive in the relegation battle.

Mario Lemina is set to depart Molineux after informing Pereira he wants to leave – and TBR Football can now reveal that Wolves have opened talks with Dynamo Kyiv to sign Volodymyr Brazhko.

Wolves in talks to sign Volodymyr Brazhko

Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent at TBR Football – has now been informed by sources close to Wolves that the Old Gold are pushing to sign the Ukraine international.

Wolves are looking to bring a new holding midfielder to Molineux amid the Lemina situation – and also due to the fact Pereira wants more options in midfield regardless of what happens with the Gabon international.

We understand the talks with Dynamo Kyiv are centered around a permanent deal for Brazhko.

Sources have also told TBR Football that Wolves are still eager to sign another central defender and a forward before the winter transfer window shuts.

Brazhko has made 25 appearances in all competitions for Dynamo Kyiv so far this season – including six in the UEFA Europa League – scoring four goals while also providing three assists.

In regards to Wolves wanting a new central defender, personal terms have already been agreed with RC Lens No.4 Kevin Danso.

However, Wolves are reluctant to pay the £25m asking price for the Austria international, and RC Lens are not desperate for cash after selling Abdukodir Khusanov to Manchester City in a £33.8m deal.

Therefore, with talks ongoing for Brazhko, Pereira may have to settle for a new central defender on loan once funds are spent to sign the Dynamo Kyiv No.6 in a permanent deal.
