Palmeiras are facing growing pressure to get signings done this month as their efforts for Fulham's Andreas Pereira turn into a 'soap opera'.

That's according to GE Globo, who report that coach and fans alike are growing impatient with the club's lack of movement.

Abel Ferreira has been clear that he wants signings, saying as much in two interviews this year, but Palmeiras have not yet been able to deliver them.

One player targeted is Fulham's Andreas Pereira and numerous reports over the last month had Palmeiras pushing to get him.

Palmeiras have until February 28th to sign him as that's when the Brazilian window closes, but the affair has become something of a soap opera.

GE Globo report that while the expectation is that a deal will be done by the beginning of next month, Fulham continue to ignore their offers. Palmeiras have so far offered €20m for the midfielder.

They had expected Fulham to sign someone, a replacement, this month. That hasn't happened as yet and so offers for Pereira continue to go ignored. Palmeiras as still hopeful that a deal can happen, but there's been no definitive position or signs to actually boost this feeling.

The pressure is on President Leila Pereira to get things done and boost Ferreira's squad, with impatience growing after expectation was generated for this window.
