Birmingham’s clash away at Crawley was pushed back by 15 minutes following a medical emergency at Broadfield Stadium.
It was announced shortly before the scheduled 8pm kick-off that the fixture would be delayed following the serious incident.
Taking to X, hosts Crawley announced that a supporter had suffered the emergency.
They posted: “Kick-off has been delayed by 15 minutes due to a medical emergency in the crowd.
“We send our best wishes to the supporter affected.”
The Blues echoed Crawley in wishing the individual well, as they messaged: “We send our best wishes to all those involved.”
Crawley went into their clash against the Midlands outfit sitting in 21st spot having won two out of their last three matches.
Victory over Chris Davies’ side would lift them out of the relegation zone and above Northampton and Bristol Rovers into 19th place.
But they know they are up against an in-form Birmingham side who have won their last four league matches.
Sitting second behind Wycombe in the table, a win in West Sussex would send them to the top.
Though Birmingham, who are a point and a place above Wrexham, know defeat by more than two goals would see them drop below the Welsh side.
