Two months ago, Sky Deutschland said Brighton & Hove Albion’s Jakub Moder has ended up on VfB Stuttgart’s radar.

On November 19th, we covered claims from Poland which stated Moder is a serious target for the Bundesliga side for the winter market.

Meczyki.pl provides the latest on the midfielder’s future, which is likely to be away from Brighton.

The Poland international has made just four appearances this season and two of them came as a substitute in the Premier League. He hasn’t featured for over a month and his future could be away from the Amex.

According to the report, there are ‘many indications’ the 25-year-old will leave Brighton in in January. It’s claimed there are ‘no shortage’ of options for him and this is reported by Meczyki.pl journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk.

He claims VfB Stuttgart and an unnamed Bundesliga side are in the picture to take Moder away from Brighton. The player’s difficult situation didn’t stop him from being called up for the last three international breaks.

“The topic of VfB Stuttgart and another club from the Bundesliga comes up all the time. Moder is working with a strong agency, so a lot can still happen,” he said.

“However, athletically the last few years have been a lost time for him. If it were not for Michał Probierz’s support, it would be difficult to consider him as a player for the national team now. On the pitch, when he got chances, he didn’t prove that he deserves a place in the national team.”

“Nevertheless, we still believe that he can bring something valuable to the national team, although time is running out. We can only hope that his career will be channelled in the right way.”

Neither Włodarczyk nor Meczyki.pl have mentioned whether Moder could leave the English club on loan or a permanent transfer.
