Everton are in the process of potentially finally getting new owners with the Friedkin Group reaching an agreement with Farhad Moshiri.

Sean Dyche hasn’t been able to get much of a tune out of his players on the field as Everton are still yet to pick up their first win of the Premier League campaign.

It was originally stated that Sean Dyche will be given until the next international break to prove himself at Everton, but the developments with the potential takeover may change things.

David Moyes, who admitted he nearly signed Robert Huth for Everton, has been linked with the Everton job.

But, until the process of the takeover is complete there won’t likely be too many changes, unless Dan Friedkin decides to put plans in place prior.

Interestingly, it appears as if Friedkin is already looking to adopt a certain strategy once in power.

With or without a new owner in charge, there’s no doubting that there needs to be some kind of decision made on Dyche sooner rather than later.

The Toffees have been in so many good positions to win games, but the Englishman has failed to adopt the correct man-management strategy to see these games out.

It looks as if Everton fans may just get their wish.

According to Alex Crook of TalkSPORT, Friedkin intends to follow the example of Sir Jim Ractliffe by conducting a thorough performance review of the Toffees.

It also states that this includes manager Dyche with Friedkin keen to not rush into any knee-jerk decisions following Everton's poor start to the season.

And, David Moyes is named as the manager who would be considered.

What is going on with the Everton takeover?

Blue Heaven Holdings and The Friedkin Group confirm agreement reached for majority stake.

However, the potential takeover deal is subject to regulatory approval from the Premier League, the Football Association and the Financial Conduct Authority.

It looked as if John Textor was going to be the man to take over at Everton potentially, but he still needed to sell his shares in Crystal Palace, as well as a number of other things.

Let’s hope there aren’t any bumps in the road as this could be a turning point for Everton and their season.
