Mikey Moore is potentially the most exciting youngster in what appears to be an amazing group of prospects available to Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou.

Mikey Moore made his first-team debut towards the end of last season at the age of 16, despite barely playing for the club’s under-21s at this stage of his career. So it is hardly surprise that he appears to be one player to watch in pre-season.

Postecoglou plans to give Moore a chance in pre-season, and with that, it would be no surprise to see the forward add to his two first-team appearances over the next 12 months, particularly with Tottenham qualifying for the Europa League.

There is interest in Moore, with Football London reporting that Borussia Dortmund are monitoring his situation, with the starlet not set to sign his first professional deal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until next month.

Of course, signing for Dortmund must be tempting for almost any youngster in world football right now, with the Bundesliga side playing important roles in the careers of the likes of Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham.

But Spurs may not have too much to worry about, with Football London reporting that Moore is believed to be happy at Tottenham, with the club hoping that they can persuade him to not consider moving elsewhere with the amount of game-time he receives over the coming months.

Tottenham building something special

Obviously, every player will have their own ambitions and their own ideas for how they get there, but Tottenham appear to building something which should help convince their best prospects to stay exactly where they are.

Spurs play some of the best football in the Premier League, and they have a squad which is only going to get better and better, particularly with the signings of Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray. And Postecoglou is not someone who fears putting his faith in younger players.

So it is hard to see why Moore would have much interest in moving elsewhere at all this summer – even with Dortmund one of his admirers.
