Revealed: Chelsea star Nkunku 'frustrated' as clubs eye January bids

Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku is wanted by clubs in the Premier League and abroad, sources have told Football Insider.
The 27-year-old is being lined up for a January move after struggling for regular game time at Stamford Bridge.
Sources say Nkunku is “frustrated” with his situation at Chelsea, where his only run in the side has come in the Uefa Conference League.
Blues boss Enzo Maresca has admitted he does not see the France international as a striker, but rather as an attacking midfielder.
Cole Palmer is well ahead of Nkunku in the pecking order in west London, while Joao Felix is also scrapping for minutes in that position.
It is believed the 27-year-old will get opportunities to stake his claim in the coming weeks, with Chelsea set to start their FA Cup campaign against Morecambe on 11 January.
The Blues also face Premier League fixtures against Fulham, Ipswich and Crystal Palace in the space of just nine days starting 26 December.
Nkunku ‘frustrated’ with lack of game time at Chelsea
Nkunku has hit 12 goals and notched four goals in 25 appearances across all competitions so far in the 2024-25 campaign.
However, just two of those strikes have come in the Premier League – with the bulk of his output coming in the Uefa Conference League.
He has started just two of a possible 17 games in the English top flight.
Nkunku’s contract at Stamford Bridge runs until June 2029 after he joined from RB Leipzig last year (2023).
