On December 17th, TuttoMercatoWeb reported West Ham United and Ipswich Town had made contacts to sign Middlesbrough star Emmanuel Latte Lath.
The 25-year-old’s agent, Matthias Veneroso, has opened the door for his client to leave Middlesbrough in January.
West Ham and Ipswich Town’s interest in the striker is pointed out by 225 Foot, who then provide their own updates on this case.
Kieran McKenna’s side have taken further steps to try and get ahead of the Hammers by making an offer to the Ivory Coast international. The report provides no details of Ipswich Town’s offer for the Middlesbrough man.
He scored nine goals and registered two assists from 23 Championship games and his performances has brought interest.
Emmanuel Latte Lath would like to join a club that can offer him a ‘better challenge’ than the one offered by Ipswich Town, who are currently in the relegation zone. West Ham could offer what he’s looking for, but it’s not clear if the Ivorian is open to joining them.
The frontman’s deal lasts until 2027, with an option for another year, and 225 Foot say he won’t stay at Middlesbrough for long.
