Crawley Town boss Scott Lindsey is in the ‘frame’ for the MK Dons job, as per The Football League Paper.

Crawley Town could face a battle to keep hold of their manager amid attention from the League Two side. He guided the Sussex club to promotion from League Two last season after they beat Crewe Alexandra in the final at Wembley.

Lindsey, 52, has done an impressive job since taking over the Red Devils back in January 2023. He kept them in the Football League in his first season before getting them go earlier this year against the odds along with Stockport County, Wrexham and Mansfield Town.

In this latest update, The Football League Paper suggest he is a candidate for the MK Dons vacancy. They are in the hunt for a new head coach following Mike Williamson’s recent exit to Carlisle United and they will be carefully weighing up their options.
