According to a report by Foot Mercato, the departure of Kylian Mbappé (25) from Paris Saint-Germain in July has relieved some of the dressing room tensions within the locker room.

The French outlet writes that some PSG players' entourages had difficulties dealing with Mbappé's mother, Fayza Lamari, who is also the Real Madrid star's agent, with some allegedly describing her as being a "tyrant." In the section of the stands at the Parc des Princes where players' close friends and family are seated, the atmosphere is said to be less tense.

Kylian Mbappé’s ongoing disagreement with PSG

Despite Mbappé leaving near the start of the summer, the player remains a hot topic within the French capital. The player remains in a dispute with his former club over unpaid wages and bonuses amounting to around €55 million.

A recent decision by the LFP legal committee ordering the French champions to pay Mbappé was appealed by the club, with a meeting now set before the joint appeals committee on the 15th of October

PSG deny that they owe Mbappé any money and argue that the player had verbally and publicly agreed to forgo some of his wages and bonuses if he were to leave at the end of his contract in July. However, this agreement was crucially never put into writing.
