Paris Saint-Germain’s fans have travelled in numbers across the British Channel for the club’s first away game in this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign.

Having begun with a win over Girona at the Parc des Princes a fortnight ago, PSG continue their campaign with a tricky trip to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night. L’Équipe understands that almost 3,000 – 2,950 to be exact – PSG fans have made the trip to London to watch Les Parisiens take on the Premier League side.

UEFA class match as high-risk

The PSG fans that have made the trip are expected to assemble in central London before then marching to the stadium. Around 1,000 ultras, many of which will be from the Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP), have arrived in the capital for Round 2 of the Champions League ‘League Phase’. UEFA have classed the fixture between Arsenal and Les Parisiens as high risk.
