'You guys don't see': Arne Slot names the Liverpool player who is so 'loud' during every training session

Every successful team needs leaders both on and off the pitch and Arne Slot has now revealed who Liverpool’s most vocal player is.
The Reds are led by Virgil van Dijk at the moment after he replaced Jordan Henderson as full-time skipper at Anfield.
Of course, it’s not just Van Dijk who is classed as a ‘leader’ at Liverpool, with experienced players like Mo Salah, Andy Robertson and Alisson Becker all part of that group.
Being a leader means more than just producing on matchday as well, with off-field duties paramount and setting the standard in training also key.
And according to Arne Slot, there’s one man who rises above everyone else when it comes to doing just that.
Arne Slot says what people don’t realise about Virgil van Dijk
Speaking in his press conference ahead of facing Chelsea tomorrow, Slot admitted that he’s been so impressed by his captain Virgil van Dijk.
And in speaking glowingly about the Dutchman, Slot said that people don’t realise what Van Dijk is like in training.
“He has been crucial for us, like many others, but Virgil definitely as well. From what you guys see on the pitch, there we see all the same how good he is and he still is in defence [and] how much he contributes to our offensive side to our play,” Slot said.
“But what you guys don’t see and what I do see is how important he also is on the training ground. He’s always the one that’s most loud during the sessions, he always brings a lot of energy into our sessions and quality as well.
“What you see during the weekends is also what I see during the week, and that’s what you’re hoping for if you have a captain that is not only showing his performances in the weekend but also during the week. He’s definitely our leader.”

Liverpool football club has had some great leaders and skippers over the years.
The likes of Steven Gerrard, Graeme Souness and Alan Hansen all spring to mind when immediately thinking of those types of player.
Thankfully for Arne Slot and this current Liverpool team, Virgil van Dijk is very much in the conversation as one of the all-time greats.
The Reds are lucky to have him right now and as Slot says, being vocal on the training field and bringing the energy and commitment every single day is just part of the job.
Van Dijk, it seems, is very much producing in his role.
