Rangers set to meet with Feyenoord

Rangers are set to meet with Eredivisie outfit Feyenoord later today as Fabio Cannavaro nervously awaits an update on Croatian winger Luka Ivanusec.

The Italy legend and former Ballon d'Or winner is in charge at Croatian club Dinamo and is waiting on Feyenoord giving the green light on a loan deal for the 26-year-old winger.

But Rangers play a key role in any transfer being completed with a meeting reportedly scheduled into the calendar for Monday 20th January which should free up Ivanusec for a return to Croatia.

According to Croatian outlet 24 Sata, Rangers and Feyenoord are still yet to come to terms over the cancellation of Neraysho Kasanwirjo's loan contract.

Kasanwirjo, 22, saw his season cruelly cut short after sustaining a knee injury in a Dutch U21s friendly with England in November.

At the meeting, the report claims Feyenoord will finally 'withdraw' Nana from the loan deal with Rangers and thus free up Luka Ivanusec for the move to Dinamo.

As previously reported, under Dutch rules Feyenoord can only loan six players to foreign clubs per season and need to free up a space if they're to sanction Ivanusec's exit.

24 Sata believe the particulars of a deal to bring the Croatian international winger to Dinamo have already been thrashed out and a move could be complete after Feyenoord's meeting with Rangers today.

Ivanusec moved to Feyenoord from Dinamo in a deal worth €10m (£8.5m) in the summer of 2023.
