3 Stoke City players who could attract interest in January including 25-year-old

Stoke City are closing in on an important transfer window as they look to gain steam under Narcis Pelach in 2025.
Stoke City haven’t been able to kick on and push up the Championship table in the early stages of the Narcis Pelach era, sitting 17th as it stands.
A Tuesday night defeat to fellow strugglers Luton Town marked another disappointing result. Nevertheless, Pelach will be expected to retain the club’s full backing as he approaches his first transfer window in charge of the club.
Pelach will be eager to add new signings of his own and given that the squad is fairly well-stocked, it seems likely that the door will open for some to depart. There will be interest welcomed in some players, but there are also key assets the Championship side will be out to hold onto.
Here, we pick out three Stoke City players who could attract admirers when January comes around…
Nathan Lowe
Stoke City prodigy Nathan Lowe is currently on loan away from the club with League Two high-flyers Walsall and given his success with the Saddlers, it would not be a surprise if there are teams interested in taking him to a higher level.
The 19-year-old has 13 goals and five assists to his name in 24 games across all competitions this season, with nine goals and four assists notched in the fourth-tier.
Walsall will hope to keep him for his full loan but League One interest is possible and the Potters could be tempted to move him to a higher level.
Jun-ho Bae
One man Stoke City will have no plans to entertain bids for is South Korean star Jun-ho Bae.
The 21-year-old’s stock is growing and growing thanks to his impressive performances for both club and country. He is yet to get off the mark in the Championship but he has managed a solid five assists in 18 games, operating both on the wing and in attacking midfield.
Bae is a big asset and has a bright future ahead of him so it would not be a surprise to see interest re-emerge. As said before though, the club will not be planning on cashing in so soon.
Niall Ennis
Last but not least is Niall Ennis, who could definitely benefit from a winter change of scenery.
Unfortunately, it just hasn’t worked out for the striker since stepping up to the Championship. His form in League One with Plymouth Argyle warranted a rise but he’s been unable to find success in front of goal with both Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers now.
A League One return could be ideal as Ennis looks to get back to his dangerous best in 2025.
