The 2024/25 FA Cup campaign is well and truly underway after the third round fixtures began this week.

Premier League sides have now entered the competition – after the likes of Bromley, Tamworth and Stockport battled through the early rounds to reach this stage – and there has already been a shock.

For example, Plymouth Argyle recorded a stunning 1-0 win away to Brentford on Saturday, a huge result considering the Bees boast the second best home record of any Premier League side this season.

So, how much will the Championship side – along with the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea – receive for progressing through the third round? Let’s take a look.

It will mean more to Plymouth Argyle than it will Chelsea and Liverpool – who started Rio Ngumoha against Accrington Stanley at the age of 16 – but the Football Association (FA) have shelled out a cash prize of £115,000 for those who tasted victory in the FA Cup third round.

You can see the full list of prize money below.

Fans can watch the draw take place live on BBC One – it will be presented by Kelly Somers, with Martin Keown and Mark Schwarzer drawing the balls.
