New club in the mix to sign Marcus Rashford from Man United after admitting defeat on another deal

Napoli could reportedly now be in the mix for the potential transfer of Manchester United misfit Marcus Rashford this January.
It looks highly likely that Rashford will be leaving Man Utd this month, with numerous top clubs around Europe linked with the England international in the last few weeks.
As well as the likes of AC Milan and Barcelona, it now seems Napoli could be one to watch in the race for Rashford's signature due to the fact that Antonio Conte's side seem set to lose Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Manchester United ready to move for in-form Premier League star!
That's according to a report from the Daily Mirror, which states that Napoli have more or less admitted defeat in their hopes of keeping Kvaratskhelia, who looks to be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain.
Marcus Rashford to Napoli to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia?
It's been a difficult season for Napoli as they lose star striker Victor Osimhen in the summer, and it now looks like another important figure in Kvaratskhelia could be heading for the exit door as well.
The Georgia international has been a joy to watch during his time in Serie A, providing great skill and flair from the left-hand side, perhaps meaning that a big move like this was inevitable at some point.
Still, if Napoli can bring in Rashford for the second half of the season, that could soften the blow of losing such an important attacking player.
Even if Rashford hasn't been at his best for some time, he's shown himself to be a major threat from that left-hand side when he's on form and full of confidence.
It's perhaps not too surprising that the 27-year-old has lost a bit of motivation at Old Trafford, with a new challenge like this looking like exactly what he needs.
Still, the Mirror suggest that Rashford's preferred destination would be Barcelona, so it will be interesting to see if Napoli can land the Kvaratskhelia replacement they so badly need.
