An exciting opportunity has become available within the Academy Sport Science & Medical Department at Watford Football Club.

We are looking to recruit an Academy Therapist / Physiotherapist to be a part of a forward-thinking team responsible for providing medical care to all players in the U9-U16 age groups.

The successful candidates will enjoy working as part of a team, be enthusiastic, and flexible to the requirements of the role and the business.

Applicants should ideally live locally in Watford, London Colney or the surrounding areas and be a UK resident or non-UK resident with a valid UK work permit.

Essential:

• Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or graduated Sports Therapist
• Hold a ITMMiF qualification or equivalent trauma training qualification
• Have a valid FA Safeguarding certificate
• Experience of working within a medical set up in youth sport
• Be able to work effectively in a team environment and operate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary support team
• Full UK driving licence or ability to travel to various locations due to the demands of the role
• Understanding of the Clubs commitment to EDI & Safeguarding

Desirable:

• Hold a ATMMiF qualification or equivalent
• Experience using Vald and Teambuildr software
• Experience within an Academy setting
