AFC Bournemouth have exercised their recall option on the season-long loan of Daniel Jebbison.

The 21-year-old striker moved to Vicarage Road in August and went on to make three starts for the Hornets, appearing 13 times in total.

He will return to the Vitality Stadium with immediate effect, linking up with a Cherries squad that has recently lost forwards Evanilson and Enes Ünal to injury.

Speaking on the news, Tom Cleverley said: “Jebbo’s career isn’t going to be defined by this tough experience for him.

“I do hope he’ll feel he’s got something out of his time here and learned a lot.

“The loan hasn’t gone as well as anyone would have wished, but that doesn't mean there needs to be any resentment left to linger.

“We wish Jebbo well back at Bournemouth while we consider our next move.”
