Supporters: EE Behind Matchday Connectivity Drive

The Vicarage Road faithful will soon be able to volunteer to be part of an exciting matchday connectivity trial organised jointly by Watford FC and telecommunications giant EE.

Already installed at the stadium last season by EE – independently proven to be the UK’s best and most reliable network – was state-of-the-art mobile infrastructure as part of an initial trial to improve 4G & 5G connectivity for fans of the club on matchdays.

Now they’re continuing to work with the Hornets to provide non-EE mobile phone users with the chance to experience the cutting-edge connectivity existing EE customers already benefit from at The Vic.

Season Ticket holders and regular match ticket buyers will soon receive an email inviting them to give their feedback on in-stadium data usage.

And non-EE customers will also get the chance to express an interest in being part of the trial during which they’ll get to experience EE’s mobile connectivity for free at a forthcoming home fixture to be confirmed (potentially as soon as the March 29 Plymouth Argyle game).
