Watford FC Women made it five games in a row unbeaten after a goalless draw away at Oxford United.
Jessie Gale went the closest for the Golden Girls when she struck the crossbar, as both sides had to settle for a point at the MGroup Stadium.
Pheobie Poole got a shot away for Oxford in the early going before Gale fired just wide of the far post at the other end.
Poole then aimed a shot over the top before Golden Girls keeper Hermione Cull saved a Leah Burridge effort from outside the area.
Isabella Fisher, making her first Hornets start since arriving on a dual-sign agreement from Arsenal, saw a close-range shot blocked on the half-hour mark, and the young forward then put Madison Perry through one-on-one.
Perry raced in on goal but Oxford stopper Beth Howard rushed out quickly to avert the danger.
Another effort from Perry, this time rising from the far post, was also held by ex-Hornet Howard in first-half stoppage time.
Gale nearly managed a superb opener but her long-range curler struck the face of the bar after 54 minutes.
At the other end, Poole couldn’t get enough power on her effort, and the visitors then went close again with an hour played.
Bianca Baptiste’s cross was pushed away and Perry’s shot on the follow-up was blocked by the Oxford defence.
Watford sit fourth in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division following the draw, level on points with Oxford who are one place below having played two games mores.
The Golden Girls are six points behind third-placed Exeter City, and also have two games in hand on the Grecians.
They will next be in action on Wednesday evening away at AFC Wimbledon (March 26, 7.45pm KO).
