Former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre believes that Brentford attacker Bryan Mbuemo would be an ideal pick for the Red Devils next season.
With 10 Premier League goals to his name in 16 matches played so far, the former United and Arsenal targret believes that the Cameroon international should join a club such as Manchester United in the near future.
Speaking to Norske Bettingsider, Silvestre expressed that United should be keeping a close eye on his progress this season.
"What Bryan Mbeumo has been doing for Brentford is a credit to him because things were never going to be easy when it came to replacing the goals of Ivan Toney," Norske Bettingsider said.
"I do think that top clubs like Manchester United should be keeping a close eye on his progress this season, it's a big time in his career at the age of 25 to see if he can make that step up.
"Silvestre continued to praise Mbeumo's character and confidence, suggesting that he has what it takes to thrive at Manchester United.
"I think it's a decisive season for him personally and I think he'd have the character to be a success at Old Trafford. I can't see him going to Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester City yet, but he is full of confidence."
